STEP import accuracy for point names
STEP import has been improved to ensure that cartesian point names are now read correctly and consistently. Previously, point identifiers could be imported incorrectly or lost, leading to mismatches between source data and imported models.
This update ensures that naming is preserved as defined in the original file, improving traceability and reliability in downstream workflows. As a result, you can more confidently rely on imported point data for analysis, automation, and integration scenarios that depend on stable geometric references.
SOLIDWORKS color correction
Color handling for SOLIDWORKS models has been refined to address issues caused by outdated or inconsistent source data. In previous versions, certain elements could appear with incorrect colors after import, affecting visual accuracy and potentially leading to misinterpretation of model structure.
With this update, color data is now processed more reliably, ensuring that imported models better match their original appearance. This improvement enhances visual consistency and makes it easier to inspect, validate, and present models without additional adjustments.
Reliable Parasolid face export
Parasolid export has been improved to ensure correct handling of faces with edges shared more than twice within a model. Previously, faces referenced more than twice could be omitted during export, leading to incomplete geometry and potential downstream issues.
The updated logic ensures that all faces are properly included, preserving model integrity and topology. This results in more reliable export behavior, especially for complex models with shared geometry, and reduces the need for additional validation or correction steps after export.
Configurable 3D PDF preview
3D PDF export has been improved with the introduction of a new GeneratePreview parameter. This option allows you to disable preview image generation when it is not required, reducing overall export time.
This is particularly useful in automated workflows or batch processing scenarios where preview images are unnecessary or hardware-accelerated rendering is not available. By skipping this step, you can significantly speed up export operations while maintaining full control over output content, making the process more efficient and adaptable to different use cases.
