CAD Exchanger SDK and Lab updates
Support of Creo 12, Inventor 2026, NX 2506 and Revit 2025
We continuously update our support for proprietary file formats, ensuring you can import the newest versions and collaborate seamlessly. From this release, you can read Creo 12, Inventor 2026, NX 2506, and Revit 2025. Check out the documentation to know more about the import scope and file extensions.
Support of SOLIDWORKS assembly features
Previously, when importing assemblies with instance-specific modifications like different hole patterns on the same part, CAD Exchanger would randomly selects one geometry variant. Now it fully preserves all assembly-level features — you get exactly the design intent from SOLIDWORKS, with every cut, hole, and modification correctly represented in each instance. No more lost features or inconsistent geometry.
Import of STEP models without explicit product structure
When you import STEP files, now CAD Exchanger automatically handles geometry-only files. If your file contains a single part without product structure, we'll reconstruct the proper hierarchy for you — so you can successfully import files that previously weren't supported at all.

CAD Exchanger SDK updates
Improved stability of C# visualization examples
We have resolved an issue where some C# visualization examples would cause access violation exceptions on exit. Previously, while the example would execute normally, it would cause an exception to you as soon as it began to terminate. Now you can run these examples smoothly from start to finish without any crashes.
More stable integration with Unity
The crash occurring when loading particular models with mesh optimization enabled in Unity has been fixed. The fix addresses stability issues during model import, ensuring reliable operation with optimization settings activated.

- support of NURBS-to-analytical recognition;
- model thumbnail generation functionality;
- enhanced the side detection algorithm in Unfolder;
- 6 new examples demonstrating key capabilities of Manufacturing Toolkit;
- updated documentation design.
