3DM

A 3DM file is a native file format for 3D models in Rhinoceros CAD application software. It contains surface, point and curve information.

3DM files can be exported in both NURBS (non-uniform rational B-spline) and polygon mesh representations, making it possible for other CAD / CAM / CAE / graphic design software to edit those models.

In addition to Rhino CAD software, 3DM files can be opened with Autodesk Fusion 360.

BricsCAD is a CAD application for 3D mechanical design, simulation, visualization and documentation. It is built on ShapeManager, geometric modeling kernel by Autodesk.

BricsCAD enables 2D and 3D data integration in a single environment, virtually representing the final product. It allows users to check the form, fit, and functions of the product before it is built. The application provides strong parametric, direct edit and freeform modeling tools as well as multi-CAD translation abilities.

There are individual seat licenses which are per user, per seat (and are linked to a fixed MAC address), and team licenses which enable group access, either on a server or within a network domain.

Any license includes access to all formats and all features.

Subscription includes access to all releases within the subscription period. To get access to new versions under the perpetual license, annual maintenance must be purchased additionally.
