CATPart

CATPart is a native format developed by Dassault Systems for storing parts of the assemblies created in CATIA V5 software suite, which is extensively used in mechanical engineering including aerospace, automotive, shipbuilding and other domains.

CATPart stores geometry, structure and metadata of 3D models dedicated to single parts. Multiple CATPART files can be combined into a CATProduct assembly file.

Among CAD applications that support CATPart extension are Autodesk Inventor, Fusion 360, and 3ds Max.

COMSOL Multiphysics® is a general-purpose simulation software for modeling designs, devices, and processes in all fields of engineering, manufacturing, and scientific research. In addition to using multiphysics modeling for your own projects, you can also turn your models into simulation applications and digital twins for use by other design teams, manufacturing departments, test labs, customers, and more.

There are individual seat licenses which are per user, per seat (and are linked to a fixed MAC address), and team licenses which enable group access, either on a server or within a network domain.

Any license includes access to all formats and all features.

Subscription includes access to all releases within the subscription period. To get access to new versions under the perpetual license, annual maintenance must be purchased additionally.
